Samsung Galaxy: Auto Blocker

Newer Galaxy phones block every app that doesn't come from an app store. If the install button is grey or nothing happens:

  1. Open Settings → Security and privacy → Auto Blocker.
  2. Turn it off, install Tuckbird, then turn it back on if you like.

Auto Blocker also blocks updates, so turn it off briefly whenever Tuckbird offers an update.

Using it

  1. In TikTok, Instagram or Facebook, open a video and tap Share.
  2. Tap More (or Share to…) to open Android's share menu, then pick Tuckbird.
  3. Stay on the screen for a few seconds and the video goes straight to your watch. If you leave, tap the Ready: tap to send to your watch notification, or Send to watch in Tuckbird.

Updates

Tuckbird checks this site's source page now and then. When there's a new version it asks you, and you install it the same way as above. It never updates without asking you.
